Cazuza — Exagerado
An exaggareted tribute reaching over 32M VIEWS
Agenor de Miranda Araújo Neto, better known as Cazuza (April 4, 1958 – July 7, 1990), was a Brazilian singer and songwriter, born in Rio de Janeiro. He is considered one of the best exponents of Brazilian rock music. In his 9-year career, he sold more than 5 million albums and achieved 11 number one singles and 18 Top 10 singles in Brazil.
The CAZUZA's hit "Exagerado" (exaggerated, in english) never had a proper music video - The artist Cazuza was dead before that. That's the reason we've decided to make it happen. Then, we established a connection between the music and the product, we created a tale about an exaggerated cupid who uses Vivo 4G connection to accomplish his missions. Hit the play button and check it out.
The main film had an unexpected innovation: Interaction with a second screen.
More than 500.000 second screen interactions during the first 3 weeks
During the weekend after we lounched the videoclip, we took the original "Circo Voador" back to the Arpoador's beach, where a lot of brazilian artists had become famous and transformed the Rio's culture in 1982. This great event also represented a gift for the 450th Rio anniversary and everyone who loves Cazuza.
